Singing is all about self expression, and so almost everyone would benefit. Lessons focus on popular singing styles, rather than classical, and the material is chosen to suit the student. The song repertoire compliments this approach perfectly, and is drawn from a mix of contemporary song and classics from yesteryear.
What Age Range do You Teach?
We welcome almost any age, with 7 years upwards being a good age to begin. Singing is equally popular with teenagers and adults of all ages, and it is not unusual for the recently retired to take up lessons.
Who Teaches Singing?
Vocal lessons are with Richard Petch, BA Hons, MA. Richard graduated from Leeds College of Music in 2008 with Honours (1st Class), attaining a Master’s Degree with distinction in 2009. Richard is a very active performer and educator, and performs regularly both in the UK and overseas.
