Emma Whitehead

Emma has played drums for over 15 years and has amassed a great deal of performing experience. She has played at a number of prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, and Manchester Academy. Emma has also toured around Europe, including the Vienne Jazz Festival, and in various venues around Germany and Amsterdam. Emma has extensive experience in the studio and her band are frequently played and interviewed on BBC radio. Emma was awarded the bursary for second study piano at Leeds College of Music and has been playing piano since the age of 7.

Emma is a dedicated teacher and has worked for Access to Music in York for over 5 years as Course Manager and Tutor. Her passion lies with teaching drums to aspiring musicians.
